PURCHASE TRANSACATION INFORMATION ENCRYPTION / SECURITY

The online purchasing area of this Site offers industry standard security measures available through buyer’s browser. If a Buyer desires to place an order, without providing online information, a customer service representative may always be contacted by telephone.

PAYPERDO FINANCING: CHARGES AND FEES

MAG Shears provides the option to finance payments for some products.  Upon order receipt of such products and acceptance of terms and conditions the USER will be charged monthly a minimum of $25 dollars credited towards the balance due until the balance is paid in full.  All payments, credits, charges, and balances may be viewed via the customer’s account page or requested through email.  Once the balance due is paid the monthly charges will terminate.  MAG Shears does not charge interest, but does charge delinquent customers late fees that are added to the balance due and detailed below:

At which point the user becomes fifteen (15) days past due on any invoice, an amount of $15 dollars will be added to the balance due, and so on every cycle of fifteen (15) days (not to exceed $30 in one month billing cycle) until the missed invoice(s) are paid and the account is brought into good standing.  The term “good standing” refers to all invoices be paid up to the current fee schedule.  The late fees are not due at time of the payment of the past due invoice(s), but will be added on to the principle balance due and increase the length of monthly drafts.

At forty-five (45) days past due with issuance in writing at thirty (30) days past due and with no response from the past due customer, a MYOL, LLC dba MAG Shears representative may physically visit it attempts to connect with the past due customer.  If a visit is required MAG Shears will impose a fifty dollar ($50) collection charge to the customer’s MAG Shears account.

Should any user become delinquent of good standing over sixty days (60), MYOL, LLC dba MAG Shears has the user’s consent to attempt collections in the amount of the full principle balance due, which includes any late fees adjusted to said balance.  MAG Shears will directly attempt to collect, or indirectly collect this amount via third-party collection agency.

MAG Shears keep records of all attempts to contact customers for collection and notification of late fees applied should they occur.

RETURN POLICY

All returns must be post marked within 30 days of original purchase date. After 30 days, there will be no credit given for returning the shears and/or payments via our PayPerDo financing program.  Sale/clearance items are not able to be returned for a refund, but can be exchanged for different items within the 30 days.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

UNDER NO CIRCUSTANCES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, NEGLIGENCE, SHALL MAG SHEARS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, DELAYS, LOSS OF DATA OR PROFIT, ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE, THE MATERIALS ON THIS SITE, EVEN IF MAG SHEARS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. If Use OF MATERIALS FROM THIS SITE RESULTS IN THE NEED FOR SERVICING, REPAIR OR CORRECTION OR USER EQUIPMENT OR DATA, THE USER ASSUMES ANY COST THEREOF.

I Can't Login :(

At the beginning of 2017 we switched over our ecommerce site and PayPerDo software. Your account may be in the old system. It may be accessed by clicking the Account Login page and then scrolling to the link at the bottom. Or give us a call!

Can I send other shears that aren't MAG in for service?

Yes you may. We service all makes and models!

If I use the PayPerDo program how do I pay each month?

Your payments are automatically drafted each month from the card on file. You may change/update your card info at anytime by logging in or giving us a call.

Does your PayPerDo payment program charge interest?

Nope! Never has and never will.

What does the Lifetime Warranty cover?

Shears by nature are simple tools with few moving parts, but should any of those parts fail we are here to replace them back to new. Should the shear become damaged due to the user, those incidences are not covered. Basically we take care of our products for the entirety of their life span.

How often should I have my shears sharpened?

There are many factors that may cause a shear to be sharpened more or less frequently. More often than not a shear becomes damaged in areas, even if slightly, before the blade naturally dulls. With higher end shears you would expect to service them 1-2 times per year and with mid range shears that can be increased to about 2-4. Again, oiling and proper care can drastically increase edge life.

Do I need to send my shears in to get serviced?

We strive to have certified sharpeners covering the entire US, but if for some reason you do not have a sales/service rep in your area then YES mail your shears in for service to keep your warranty.

Are your shears forged?

Yes all of our shears are made from Japanese forged steel. We print the grade of the steel on the shears themselves, and the grade is available in the product descriptions.
