Can I send other shears that aren't MAG in for service?
Yes you may. We service all makes and models!
If I use the PayPerDo program how do I pay each month?
Your payments are automatically drafted each month from the card on file. You may change/update your card info at anytime by logging in or giving us a call.
Does your PayPerDo payment program charge interest?
Nope! Never has and never will.
What does the Lifetime Warranty cover?
Shears by nature are simple tools with few moving parts, but should any of those parts fail we are here to replace them back to new. Should the shear become damaged due to the user, those incidences are not covered. Basically we take care of our products for the entirety of their life span.
How often should I have my shears sharpened?
There are many factors that may cause a shear to be sharpened more or less frequently. More often than not a shear becomes damaged in areas, even if slightly, before the blade naturally dulls. With higher end shears you would expect to service them 1-2 times per year and with mid range shears that can be increased to about 2-4. Again, oiling and proper care can drastically increase edge life.
Do I need to send my shears in to get serviced?
We strive to have certified sharpeners covering the entire US, but if for some reason you do not have a sales/service rep in your area then YES mail your shears in for service to keep your warranty.
Are your shears forged?
Yes all of our shears are made from Japanese forged steel. We print the grade of the steel on the shears themselves, and the grade is available in the product descriptions.
